Born in Bristol, Ann Parkin now lives in the heart of rural Somerset, where she paints in a vivid impressionist style, making full use of sunlight and shade.

Her work which is becoming increasingly sought after, has been shown at many West Country galleries, and she has also exhibited at the Royal Institute of Oil Painters in London.
